Hovhannes – Oganes Arustamov was born in Moscow (Russia). The first concert he gave at the age of 6 and subsequently participated in various children’s competitions and won the best prizes.
Since 2006 to 2010 Oganes was the student of the Academic Musical College at the Moscow State Conservatory (class of prof. Glezarova M.S.), next he studied at Moscow State Conservatory Tchaikovsky (class of prof. Bochkova I.V.), Hochschule für Musik Basel (class of prof. R. Schmidt and prof. A. Oprean) and HMDK Stuttgart ( Master Alte Musik.class of prof. C. Busch). His repertoire includes classic, romantic, modern, jazz and baroque compositions.
In 2013 he won The XII Youth Delphic Games of Russia, gold medal; The VIII Delphic Games of the CIS, gold medal; The I Russian Competition of Violinists of, N. A. Goldenberg, Grand Prix.
2011–2014 Violin teacher at Central Music School of Arts, Moscow
2022–2023 3rd Concertmaster at Ulm Philharmonic Orchestra
2023–2024 2nd Concertmaster in Saxen-Anhalt Philharmonic Orchestra, Dessau
He performed with The National Philharmonic Orchestra of Russia, Novosibirsk Philharmonic Orchestra, Collegium Musicum Lausanne, Kaliningrad Symphony Orchestra, Basel Symphony Orchestra and other music collectives.
