A new generation of musicians
Not all are geniuses of creation, but there are many geniuses of perception – the task is to identify and awaken them. With the right level of attention, both problems and (in many cases) solutions to problems become apparent. Attention alone is not enough to find and understand the problem, so this is where I come in and tell you exactly what to look for. After a few months of regular sessions, concentration time and self-discipline in all aspects of activity your skills are going to improve dramatically through this technique.
Awareness also involves a versatile view of music and an awareness of the different features of music – its many interpretations as well as possible associations with other art forms.
As an educator, I develop the student’s individual style. It is an extremely difficult and ambitious task – to find and identify the features of a pupil’s individual performance style, to help him/her in the formation and development of his/her style, and to make it perceivable for an educated and trained public.
This means that the teacher has to step back from himself and be in the skin of the pupil: I have to feel what he likes, how she wants to express and why, and from there select the best interpretation and develop it jointly.
How to master the new techniques is demonstrated in class and at home you have to repeat many times daily. If a student is not stuck in memorized movements which prevent effective execution, the process of learning anew is quite fast – there exists a ‘superstructure’ in the brain/body for a natural, advanced system of ‘movements’. And this will prove that these methods work and help to progress faster than through traditional ways of teaching.
My mission is to help nascent musicians with a successful career preparation: – competitions, exams, concerts and specific auditions.
